Sugar Factory
Amasya Şeker Fabrikası A.Ş., located in Suluova and laid the foundation on September 13, 1953, was put into operation on September 11, 1954. The factory employs a total of 1142 people, 891 of whom are in the affiliated region. Sugar beet cultivation is carried out in 200.000 decare area by 30.000 farmers in approximately 400 villages. Beet sowing planning, planting, maintenance and dismantling of the factory processed by the agricultural service is done through regional organizations. The campaign period in the factory lasts approximately 100 days. The factory produces the electrical energy it needs in steam turbines. Ethyl Alcohol Factory
It was established to evaluate molasses produced as a by-product in the Sugar Factory. It started production in 1996. It has the capacity to process 60 tons of molasses, 60.000 tons of condensed slamp and 6 tons of sulphate by processing 200 tons of molasses per day.
Suluova Small Industrial Site
It was put into service in 1995. It consists of 185 workshops and workplaces that sell and supply spare parts for the maintenance and repair of tools and equipment needed in the district. The industrial estate is managed by the cooperative and has 171 partners.
Mountaineers Cabin Industry
In order to meet the needs of the regional farmers in the district, Dağcılar Cabin Industry has been producing for more than 30 years. In the facility which is built on 2000 square meters closed and 6000 square meters open area, tractor safety cabin, combine harvester and construction machine cabins, water tankers of different tonnages, tractor trailer and beet loading bucket are produced.
Feed
KOZYEM aims to produce world-class feed in the feed industry and uses the most advanced technology to provide the best quality feed to the developing livestock sector. Kozlu Yem, which started its operations in 1998, was established on a 120.000 m2 place and 30.000 m2 closed area. It produces high quality feed types with its fully automated modern facilities with a daily production capacity of 920 tons.
Flour and Feed Industry
Three flour mills were established to process 89 thousand tons of wheat produced on the fertile land of Suluova. Apart from these, it is produced in two feed factories established in our district with the feed necessary for animal nutrition. Grain products grown in the district are processed by 2 feed factories and 3 flour factories established in our district.
New Business (Textile, Marble, Parquet and Plastic Industry)
Having an entrepreneurial spirit, Suluova people are recruited into new business lines that will help the development of the district and contribute to the national economy by providing job opportunities for local and environmental people. In the field of textiles 2 garment shirts and garments manufacturing. In order to operate the marble beds within the boundaries of our district, marble factories were established in our district and still continue production. In the field of plastic industry, a plastic factory producing hose and pipe is operating in our district. There is one parquet factory operating in the field of concrete paving stone, concrete building elements and ready-mixed concrete production.
